Economy data is data offered at a lower speed - You can expect between 0.6 Mbps to 0.9 Mbps download speed as opposed to full 4G or 5G speed. This allows you perform basic tasks like checking email, surf the net (albeit at a slower speed.) check social media, use maps etc. The reality is that many people only use the data on their phones when out and about and connect to Wifi at the office or home. So why pay for high speed data when you hardly use it. If you would like full speed data then you can add a full speed data plan at extremely competitive rates. With unlimited Economy data it is truly unlimited so you wont get surprised with a large unexpected data overage bill.
